Bybit Card Review 2026: Fees, Cashback Tiers and Where It Works

The Bybit Card pays 2% to 10% cashback, but the tier you land in, the region you live in and a rule change on 5 October 2026 decide how much of that you ever see. Here are the fees, the full tier table, the countries, and the one number that matters more to an active trader than the card itself.

Key takeaways
  • The Bybit Card spends straight from your Bybit Funding Account. Outside Europe it runs as regional programmes on Mastercard or Visa; in the EEA it has been issued by Bybit EU since 31 December 2025.
  • On bybit.com the cashback runs from 2% to 10% across six tiers, capped at $5 to $600 a month. Your VIP level or your monthly spend decides the tier.
  • Since 5 October 2026 only crypto-funded card spending earns cashback on bybit.com. Spending from a fiat balance earns nothing.
  • Bybit EU charges no annual fee, 0.5% on foreign currency and 0.9% to convert crypto at the till. Its card page advertises 1% cashback with no cap for non-VIP users.
  • The United States and the United Kingdom are not on either programme list.

A card that pays 10% back sounds like the best deal in crypto until you read the column next to it. On bybit.com, 10% belongs to Supreme VIPs or anyone spending $25,000 a month, and the cap on the default tier is $5. In Europe the card comes from a different company with a different rewards table. None of that makes the card bad. It makes the headline a poor guide, so this review starts from Bybit's own tables and works back to what a normal month of spending returns.

What is the Bybit Card?

The Bybit Card is a payment card that spends the crypto and cash in your Bybit Funding Account at any merchant that takes Mastercard or Visa. It has no separate balance to top up. When you pay, the card draws on your Funding Account and converts crypto in a priority order you set, by default USDT first, then USDC, then the rest.

Which card you get depends on where you live. Bybit's card FAQ lists regional programmes on Mastercard and Visa, prepaid in some regions and labelled a credit card in others. In the EEA the card is a Mastercard from Bybit EU, issued by Harmoniie SAS with Moorwand Ltd, and you get the virtual card first, with Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a physical card on request.

Applying takes Bybit's advanced identity verification plus proof of your residential address, which is stricter than the verification you need to trade. That is worth knowing before you start, because the card is the part of Bybit that most resembles a bank account.

Which countries can get the Bybit Card?

The Bybit Card is issued in nine regional programmes on bybit.com and, for Europe, through Bybit EU. The bybit.com programmes are Argentina, the AIFC, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Asia Pacific. Residents of the EEA and Switzerland had to move to Bybit EU by 31 December 2025, according to Bybit's notice on EEA card changes, and the European card now has its own rewards and its own fee table.

The United States and the United Kingdom are on neither list. For US readers that follows from a wider rule: Bybit does not serve the US at all, which we cover in Is Bybit available in the US?

One warning about Bybit's own website. Some of its wiki pages, labelled as AI-generated, still show all of Europe on bybit.com and older reward rules. The help center articles linked here are the ones Bybit updates, so treat those as the reference.

What does the Bybit Card cost?

The Bybit Card has no annual fee and no issuance fee, and you pay mainly when money changes form. On Bybit EU, according to its fees and limits page, paying in a currency other than euro costs 0.5% on top of Mastercard's rate, and paying with crypto costs 0.9% on top of Bybit EU's conversion rate.

That 0.9% is the fee that decides the card's value. Pay €1,000 from a USDC balance and the conversion costs €9. At the 1% non-VIP rate Bybit EU advertises, the cashback on the same purchase is €10, so the net gain is €1, and a purchase in dollars adds €5 of FX fee on top. Spending a euro balance avoids the conversion fee altogether.

How much cashback does the Bybit Card pay?

On bybit.com the card pays 2% to 10% cashback in six tiers, and the monthly cap matters as much as the rate. Bybit's rewards table, updated on 2 October 2026, gives the default tier 2% with a $5 monthly cap. VIP users take the tier of their VIP level; everyone else climbs by monthly spend, from $500 for Tier 2 up to $25,000 for Tier 6.

Since 5 October 2026 at 10:00 UTC, only purchases funded with crypto earn points or cashback. Spending from a fiat balance earns nothing, and the date that counts is when the merchant settles the payment, not when you tap the card. Cashback arrives in USDT on your Funding Account once you switch on Auto Cashback, and points stay pending for 4 days first.

One inconsistency is worth flagging. The table puts Tier 3 at $3,500 of monthly spend, while Bybit's rewards FAQ uses $6,000 as its example for the same tier. Plan with the higher figure until Bybit aligns the two. The 100% subscription rebate on services such as ChatGPT Plus, Netflix, Spotify and TradingView is now limited to Tier 3 and above and to VIP users, and it only applies when you pay on the service's own website, not through an app store.

Bybit EU runs a separate programme. Its card page advertises 1% cashback with no monthly cap for non-VIP users and 2% to 10% for VIPs, subject to monthly caps, plus a welcome offer of up to €120 cashback in the first 30 days.

Spending and ATM limits

Bybit EU sets three limit levels, and non-VIP users can only reach the second one. Spending runs from €5,000 a day at level 1 to €15,000 at level 3, with monthly ceilings of €10,000, €25,000 and €50,000. ATM withdrawals stop at €2,000 a day on every level, and the first €100 of cash each month is free before the 2% fee applies.

You can request a higher level in the card dashboard, and the review takes up to 7 business days. Users who applied as non-VIPs can move from level 1 to level 2; VIPs can move up to level 3.

Card cashback and trading-fee cashback are two different things

Card cashback pays you back on what you spend, and trading-fee cashback pays you back on what you trade, so one does not replace the other. Bybit funds the card cashback. Trade Reclaim pays the second kind from the affiliate commission Bybit already pays on your trading fees, on Bybit and on Bybit EU when the account was opened through Trade Reclaim's link.

The two only meet at one point: your VIP level. Bybit puts VIP users straight into the matching card tier, so a trader at VIP 3 gets 4% on the card without the spending threshold. Bybit publishes no rule that works the other way round, so do not expect card spending to lift your VIP level.

The size difference is the part most reviews skip. A Tier 3 cardholder spending $3,500 of crypto in a month earns $140, against a cap of $150. A trader with 5,000,000 USDT of monthly taker volume pays 2,750 USDT in fees at Bybit's 0.055% rate, and 30% cashback returns 825 USDT of that, with no monthly cap. For an active trader the card is a nice extra; the fee rebate is the line that moves the month.

Is the Bybit Card worth it?

The Bybit Card is worth it if you already hold crypto on Bybit, spend from it every month and sit at Tier 3 or above. At that level 4% to 10% comes back with caps high enough to matter, and the subscription rebate can cover a few monthly bills on its own.

It is a weaker deal at the default tier. On bybit.com the $5 cap is used up after $250 of spending, and in Europe the 0.9% crypto conversion fee absorbs most of the 1% non-VIP cashback. If that is your situation, the card is a convenient way to spend crypto, not a way to earn from it.

If you trade on Bybit, the larger saving sits on the trading side. Our Bybit fees guide breaks down every fee, and the calculator shows what 30% back is worth on your own volume.

Trading on Bybit as well? Get 30% of the fees back

Exchanges pay part of every trading fee back as affiliate commission. Trade Reclaim returns 30 to 50% of it to you in USDT, across 9 exchanges from one account, with no volume threshold.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Bybit Card free?

The Bybit Card has no annual fee and no fee for the virtual card. On Bybit EU the first physical card is also free and a replacement costs €5. The costs come when you spend: 0.5% for paying in a foreign currency and 0.9% for paying with crypto instead of euro. Cash withdrawals are free for the first €100 each month and cost 2% after that.

Is the Bybit Card a debit or a credit card?

The Bybit Card spends money you already hold on Bybit rather than a credit line. In the EEA it is a Mastercard issued by Harmoniie SAS with Moorwand Ltd, drawing on your Bybit EU Funding Account. Outside Europe, Bybit's card FAQ lists programmes on Mastercard and Visa, some labelled prepaid and some labelled credit, depending on the region. Either way the card has no separate balance; it pays from your Funding Account.

Which countries can get the Bybit Card?

The Bybit Card is available in nine bybit.com programmes and, for Europe, through Bybit EU. The bybit.com programmes are Argentina, the AIFC, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Peru and Asia Pacific. EEA residents get the card from Bybit EU, after the European programme moved there on 31 December 2025. The United States and the United Kingdom are not covered.

How much cashback does the Bybit Card give?

On bybit.com the Bybit Card pays 2% to 10%, depending on your tier, with monthly caps from $5 to $600. Your VIP level sets the tier directly; without VIP status you climb by monthly spending, from $500 for Tier 2 to $25,000 for Tier 6. Since 5 October 2026 only crypto-funded spending counts. Bybit EU advertises 1% with no cap for non-VIP users and 2% to 10% for VIPs.

Does spending on the Bybit Card raise my VIP level?

No rule published by Bybit lets card spending raise your VIP level. The link runs the other way: your VIP level, which comes from trading volume or assets, places you directly in the matching card tier. A VIP 3 trader gets the 4% Tier 3 rate without meeting the $3,500 spending threshold. Monthly spending only moves your card tier, not your trading tier.

Can I get Bybit Card cashback and trading-fee cashback together?

Yes, because they pay out on different activity from different sources. Bybit pays card cashback on what you spend with the card. Trade Reclaim pays 30% of the trading fees you generate on Bybit or Bybit EU, from the affiliate commission Bybit already pays, as long as the account was opened through Trade Reclaim's link. Neither one reduces the other.
